"You are getting this email because you have agreed to 3rd party offers..." - When does marketing email become spam?

Supported Mail Servers

MIPSpace is designed to work with most email and messaging platforms, however some mail servers already have a known implementation method that MIPSpace can be used in. Below you can find documentation to assist you during the setup. If your mail server is not listed here, please file an Enhancement Request and/or consider one of the following mail server products:

  • MagicMail
MagicMail - The MagicMail Server is a complete 'Turnkey' ISP and Email Provisioning server. It includes all of LinuxMagic's specialized tools, features, and spam protection and is designed specifically for the ISP, Telco and business markets.
  • Qmail
Qmail - Qmail is a modern SMTP server which was designed as a replacement for sendmail. It is written by Dan Bernstein. Qmail is a secure and free package. Unlike its competitors, Qmail has not been updated by the author for several years and users have instead come to rely on third party patches to support new functionality.
  • Postfix
Postfix - Postfix is a free software / open source mail transfer agent (MTA), a computer program for the routing and delivery of email. It is intended as a fast, easy-to-administer, and secure alternative to the widely-used Sendmail MTA. Postfix is the default MTA for a number of Unix(-like) operating systems.
